Lee Bul: From 1998 to Now 🎨
Lee Bul is widely recognized as a pivotal figure in Asian contemporary art, whose work over the past four decades has profoundly influenced the art scenes of Korea, Asia, and the world. This exhibition is structured in three parts, showcasing the grand vision and cross-media nature of Lee Bul's practice.
This special exhibition features over 200 works drawn from Lee Bul's studio and institutional and private collections across Asia. M+ has added 49 additional works, encompassing her early practice from the late 1990s to the early 2000s and new creations from 2024. It offers a rare opportunity to trace the key developments in Lee Bul's work from the late 1990s to the present and situate her practice within both Asian and global contexts.
