Stay Connected: Supplying the Globe

Tai Kwun Contemporary proudly presents the second chapter of its "Stay Connected" series: "Supplying the Globe". This exhibition brings together over 70 compelling works by more than 40 artists. By delving into personal narratives, family histories, and little-known details, it offers a profound exploration of globalization and China's decades of unprecedented economic growth. It re-examines China's role as a pivotal global hub of production and logistics, and how this role sustains modern life worldwide.

Curated around four thematic sections, the exhibition reveals the environmental footprint of human activity, portrays diverse landscapes of labor (including the artistic labor of the creators themselves), unveils the invisible networks of collaboration and flow, and focuses on the transnational movement of people, goods, and ideas that continuously reshape our world.
